External restoration and interior refurbishment of a Grade II Listed house, originally built in the late seventeenth century, to create a contemporary family home.
Set over three floors, the house features a mix of original features and modern additions, with generously sized rooms complimented by an abundance of natural light. To improve connectivity between spaces, openings were created to link key rooms.
This Georgian rectory has been remodelled into a spacious six-bedroom house with en-suites, a home workspace, dressing room, snooker room, dedicated guest wing and an almost self-contained apartment on the top floor. Refurnished and lit throughout, it emulates the most unique, comfortable and exclusive private villa in a hotel.
The external repair package included masonry repairs and repointing, external window repairs and replacements where required, roof repairs, and lead flashing replacement.
