Client: Amsprop
Completion: Late 2008

This 3000sq m five-floor office building is being refurbished by MoreySmith to Category 'A' level with the addition of a new barrelvaulted top floor, for Alan Sugar's property vehicle - Amsprop. Here the eastern elevation shows the entrance detailing - etched bands on backpainted glass, new revolving glass doors and a zinc canopy leading into the new double height reception. The ground floor is changing from office use to retail and restaurant units.

South elevation, animated by irregularly placed extra length windows.

Proposed reception in the long narrow floorplate, with a double height space cut through to the first floor to enhance sightlines and natural light. Burnt oak panelling rises from ground to first floor, while the horsehair panel behind the reception desk meets the Okalux obscured glass panelling on the right.

North elevation showing the new barrel-vaulted top floor, with views over Regents Park. The pre-weathered zinc roof picks up on the ground floor entrance canopy finish.
