MoreySmith is designing the common parts of this 14,000 sq m commercial office building on the waterside in central Bristol, the largest speculative development in the city centre for more than 20 years. The reception area shown here is enlivened with a huge interlayered coloured glass screen behind the desk, rising to the underside of the second floor. Reclaimed timber flooring and natural stone cladding to the walls add solidity and warmth. We are proposing hanging artwork or sculpture in the tall entrance space to the right with its glazed roof.
