Vizeum
Qube, 90 Whitfield St W1
Client: Aegis Media
Creative advertising agency, Vizeum, came to us early in 2008 after securing a 1670 sq m floorplate of the newly completed Qube in Whitfield St. They wanted to create a lively, imaginative new home for their 170 staff within a challenging budget and accelerated programme. The resulting spaces are fresh and energetic and provide the perfect backdrop for Vizeum's campaigns.
This image shows the booths behind reception which provide space for meeting and team working in the client area.
A view across the atrium from the glass lifts as you arrive at Vizeum's floor. The project rooms facing the atrium feature large yellow acrylic sliding doors and bespoke manifestation to the glass which together create striking and colourful impact.
The informal and welcoming reception space flows directly into the café and the heart of the office, and reflects the relaxed personality of Vizeum. Acrylic rods hang from the exposed concrete soffit, forming a canopy which defines the reception and quiet area beyond. A quirky graphic design on glass separates the reception desk and quiet area booths.
The flexible café and events space is used for day to day collaboration and socialising, plus full company meetings and launch events. The polished white flooring heightens the effect of the natural light coming in from all sides.

Clever use of floor finishes, joinery and suspended 'Algue' screening differentiates between working areas and informal breakout spaces throughout the general office space. This image shows the library and gallery which connects the main reception and the open plan areas. The raised floor tile has been left exposed, set against the timber and carpet of surrounding areas.
MoreySmith worked in collaboration with Vizeums in house design team to produce the bespoke manifestations which add to the unique identity within the office spaces. A colourful fresh palette within the project rooms is complemented by bespoke wireframe pendant lights.
