We were delighted to be appointed to redevelop Primark’s international headquarters in Dublin, transforming the existing workspace into a modern and innovative working environment, housing their team of 600 people in the heart of the city’s shopping district. Click image to watch the film.

This major transition involved the connection of two existing buildings by a 13metre-long bridge across a redundant exterior courtyard. The two buildings were also built in very different eras. One a twentieth century listed building, the other a modern property constructed in 2002. The bridge runs through a central atrium which overlooks a communal cafe/restaurant at the core of the new workspace spanning a total of 125,000 sq ft.
A fully open plan and varied working environment was integral to the brief, to encourage collaboration and integration, while additional bridges and stairs create a sense of movement for people to move freely between work areas. Natural daylight floods through from the atrium’s glass roof, bringing light directly into the four floors of office space below.
The project includes a large communal area featuring a reception with a separate business lounge, a large café and coffee bar, design studios, a press and PR Office, photographic studio, auditorium, and exercise studio with showers and changing facilities.
